Rabbi Burt Siegel has devoted his Rabbinic career primarily to education. He is known as an inspiring, exciting, sensitive and creative teacher who is able to touch minds and hearts in a way that brings out the best in his students. He makes learning fun and experiential, and often students, adults as well as kids, forget about the time and just want to keep going.
Can you imagine a twelve-year-old or a tired adult at the end of the day not wanting a lesson to be over? Over the years his approach has become more and more of a spiritual approach to teaching. He strives to help students find their deepest connection to themselves, to other people and to Life itself and to God, the Ultimate Essence of Life.
He sets an example of a person who loves to learn. Even after many years of studying, he continues his learning every year in Jerusalem for two months. He continues his Jewish Learning at a Yeshiva in New York which he attends every day. Rabbi Burt loves to teach special needs people to whom he brings great love. Through his loving heart, they accomplish more than they or their families ever thought possible. He loves teaching ALL kids and ALL adults and sharing with them the deep experience he has gained; whether in a classroom, or a living room, private tutoring or on-line education.
Rabbi Burt brings his enthusiasm to every lesson and sees each lesson as a privilege and as an opportunity to perform the joyous Mitzvah of teaching.
