I'm originally from Charlotte and have lived in Raleigh since 1972. I have a BA in Business Administration and an AAS in Emergency Medical Medicine. I worked for the NC Division of Prisons for 30 years and retired in 2002. I worked in Custody, Security, Diagnostics, Classification and was a Criminal Justice Instructor. I have studied and interviewed many thousands of criminals and have unique insight into criminal behavior. I have taught firearms and CCH since 2002. I have been teaching Martial Arts and Unarmed Self-Defense since 1990 and have four Black Belts in three styles of Martial Arts. After retirement worked as a Paramedic and taught Health Care Provider at UNC-CH and Duke Medical Schools, and Nursing schools, as well as basic CPR and First Aid and the firearms classes. I'm certified to teach Bail Bondsmen Recertification Classes and worked for the N.C. Bail Academy teaching these classes. I'm a Docent at the NC Museum of History.
