He has faced many difficulties since then, including hands that shake, in order to pursue his goal of painting. His wife is a dedicated and loving partner. She helps stabilize his hands so he can paint, and this enables him to continue creating beautiful, original work of art. With limited mobility, it's unfortunate that Richard Blue III cannot attend art festivals and gallery viewings. So he's making his artwork available online.
